BIOGRAPHY
Artist and visionary, Arthure was one. He imposed himself for more than 38 years as a major french creator. From his oil paintings to his polychrome metallic sculptures, true worldwide creation, the symbolic style of the Langres’s painter has become an international signature.
A french artist recognised from Japan to Korea, Belgium to Canada, but deeply attached to his region Champagne-Ardenne.

Arthure continues his quest for illumination, translated in his paintings and sculptures, master pieces recognised as such, from his native Haute-Marne, to a worldwide audience, from Japan to the United States, as well as all over Europe.
He presented his work this way:
“My painting and sculpture are just the reflection of an internal path towards harmony, between sky and ground and in between the humans, philosophical quest of knowledge of one self as others, articulated around the knowledge of symbols.”
``Arthure is a pioneer, an artisan composer. He kneads the material like others knead the dough, then spread it out on its support like those companions of the past who were building with lime and sand with skillful strokes of a trowel.``
